The United States Title 42 law is causing a stir-up in the news, and Darnell will be personally affected by it. Also, famous female Chicago rapper Da Brat had an interesting choice for her newborn baby and we give our opinions. Lastly, things get heated when we talk about whether or not you get to dictate how a person responds to how you make them feel. It’s The Medlocks Show!

    • Rapper Da Brat says she and her wife chose a white sperm donor because the only Black donor presented to them 'looked like Jiminy Cricket!
  •  Netflix’s Queen Cleopatra Docuseries 
    • The controversy over Cleopatra’s race and heritage remains a hotly debated subject among some Egypt experts. The biopic is part of a documentary series from Jada Pinkett Smith that explores the lives of prominent and iconic African queens. 
  • Title 42 Law Stopping Border Traffic
    • Title 42, the Trump-era pandemic public health restrictions that became a key tool officially used to turn back migrants at the US-Mexico border expired on May 11. Officials predict that lifting Title 42 is likely to spur a significant increase in the number of migrants trying to cross into the US.  
  • Hurt Someone’s Feelings and Dictating Their Response 
    • A man cheated on his girlfriend and she threw his mother's ashes in the river. Some say she went too far. Can we dictate how some respond when we hurt them? Or is it all fair game once someone violates?
